Curator/Marketing Assistant

Initiating the gallery aspect of the shop by researching and searching out talented, local artists. Handling of the art with care andrespect both in hanging and taking down the pieces. Designing fliers/advertising on Facebook and other social media sites, Twitter, etc. to enhance exposure on the current shows as well as the shop itself; providing an intriguing imaging for both patron familiar with the shop and incoming patrons. Organizing the opening/closing reception for the artist as well as taking care of artist’s payment and the percentages due to the gallery/shop. Providing written information about each piece hung in the gallery, and participating in a directdialogue with the artist to understand the pieces, to then communicate with outside sources. Provide effective customer service skills on top of proficiency in creating specialty as well as house beverages. Providing adept knowledge of the espresso product as well as detailed knowledge of curated shows expanded upon by real world and academic experiences.
